Connect your AI in minutes

MemScope speaks MCP for assistants and agents, and a plain REST API for internal applications.

Connect ChatGPT

Once MemScope is published as a ChatGPT app, connecting is an OAuth handshake: find MemScope, sign in, choose the organization, approve scopes. Your ChatGPT session then acts as you — never as a privileged robot.

  1. 1In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors and add MemScope.
  2. 2Sign in and pick the organization to connect.
  3. 3Review the requested scopes on the consent screen and approve.
  4. 4Ask ChatGPT to remember or recall something — it calls the tools below.

Connect other MCP clients

Any MCP-capable client (Claude, Cursor, a custom agent) can connect to the remote MCP endpoint over streamable HTTP. Auth is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, dynamic client registration and a consent screen.

Discovery is automatic via /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. Clients register themselves, then the user approves access.

Store an explicit memory. Classified asynchronously; returns immediately.

Search memory. Only memories the authenticated human may read are returned.

explain_memorymemory_id

Why a memory is or is not accessible, including the governing rule.

correct_memorymemory_id, content, reason?

Create a new immutable version of a memory with a corrected body.

forget_memorymemory_id, reason?

Soft-delete a memory. Authorized users can restore it later.

REST API

Internal applications use the same memory service over REST. Browser clients authenticate with an HttpOnly session cookie; programmatic clients may use an OAuth bearer token.
